THE BRIEF
The Orchid Project required us to redesign a set of template pages for their existing site. They also asked us to look at the site's structure and find a more streamlined user journey, ensuring clearer call-to-actions and more opportunities for users to follow them on social media.
OUR RESPONSE
We started by creating a whole new site map which divided the site up into more logical groups of pages. We then created wireframes of 8 pages (to be used as templates for the rest) and a prototype to demonstrate the clarity of navigation and how pages intelligently interlink. We used big, emotive photos and broke content up in a modular but interesting and engaging way by using pulled out stats, graphics and quotes.
Here's what the website looked like when we were first briefed.

We set about creating a site map that allowed a more logical user flow through the site, ensuring they landed on the pages containing the most important content
